Find also in this outdoor mall complex plenty of shops and services such as chiropractors, a medical clinic and pharmacy, restaurants, produce stores, department stores, the Kensington Bingo Hall, gas station, hair salon, a pub, drycleaners, alteration and sewing services, and many more local business.

A small strip mall near Kensington Community School has a daycare, hair salon, car service centre, dance organizations and travel agency.

On the corner of 119 St and 137 Ave is a local plant and gardening supply store. Kensington is known for its beautiful gardens and it is great to have this in our neighbourhood.

Just north of Kensington, across 137 Ave, is a large shopping complex which stretches west to St. Albert Trail. Every amenity is available a short drive away: fitness clubs, grocery stores, pharmacy/drug stores, restaurants, hardware stores, pet supercentres, veterinarians, clothing stores, home decor, electronics and computer stores and banks. Big Box stores are in abundance, only minutes away.

Thanks to much public pressure, the City of Edmonton has restored the sand box program. Expect changes to this service in upcoming years as they fine tune the delivery of sand to all neighbourhoods.
